Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Duraznito's Abner Fornes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Isadoro Villota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Plácido Moncada in the 2nd minute of play. Japucucho's Norberto Cotapos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Japucucho from getting a goal against them. Abner Fornes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Japucucho's Rigoberto Orellana got a free kick in the 18th minute. The audience was convinced that Abner Fornes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Cotapos was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 26th minute, Nicolas Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Nicolas Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Duraznito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Abner Fornes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norberto Cotapos had great luck who in the 36thth minute grab hold of the ball when Abner Fornes from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 38 minutes, Arcadio Bardesi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Japucucho and the Duraznito players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arcadio Bardesi hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Nicolas Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duraznito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norberto Cotapos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abner Fornes in the 44th minute of the match. Abner Fornes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

If Jacobo Ríos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duraznito's Nicolas Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolas Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Cotapos having to interfere. Norberto Cotapos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abner Fornes in the 77th minute of play. Plácido Moncada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isadoro Villota having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Plácido Moncada got free with Isadoro Villota in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Plácido Moncada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes Japucucho got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Cabrito. Abner Fornes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Duraznito were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Japucucho for a fine match.
