Spectators: 6710 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Horacio Faivovich started the match with the kick off. After having played for 6 minutes, Plácido Moncada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Japucucho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Plácido Moncada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Plácido Moncada in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leopoldo Jacinto Opazo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jacobo Ríos kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Japucucho's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Faivovich came free, but Norberto Cotapos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerónimo Ansaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. The Ilque AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Jaime Cabrito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Japucucho's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Cabrito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Jacinto Opazo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute, Iván Carter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Jacobo Ríos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Jacinto Opazo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Horacio Faivovich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerónimo Ansaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Norberto Cotapos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerónimo Ansaldo in the 34th minute of play. Norberto Cotapos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerónimo Ansaldo in the 40th minute of the match. The Japucucho players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ilque AFC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacobo Ríos to strike the kick off in the second half. Horacio Faivovich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Cotapos having to interfere. Baudelio Grillo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Leopoldo Jacinto Opazo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Ríos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilque AFC's Leopoldo Jacinto Opazo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Plácido Moncada in the 65th minute of play. Plácido Moncada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerónimo Ansaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gerónimo Ansaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 79 played minutes Japucucho got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Orellana. In the 88th minute Plácido Moncada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Jacinto Opazo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horacio Faivovich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Norberto Cotapos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilque AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
