Salomón Mac Kay scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Loreno Galleguillos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Salomón Mac Kay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Marchihue booed when Rahue F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mercé Hidalgo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loreno Galleguillos came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Marchihue's Salomón Mac Kay. But to his dismay, Salomón Mac Kay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Loreno Galleguillos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauro Idoate in the 32nd minute of the match. Rahue F.C's Jacob Browne got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 42 minutes, Lauro Idoate managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marchihue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lauro Idoate was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ceandro Munita was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Rahue F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Leonardo Ubeda was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Jacob Browne capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jacob Browne really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After the first half Marchihue were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salomón Mac Kay was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvino Andueza in the 51st minute of play forced Marchihue's goalkeeper Leonardo Ubeda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Silvino Andueza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Ubeda. Marchihue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvino Andueza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Leonardo Ubeda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvino Andueza, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Silvino Andueza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lauro Idoate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salomón Mac Kay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Loreno Galleguillos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loreno Galleguillos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salomón Mac Kay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loreno Galleguillos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lauro Idoate went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. Loreno Galleguillos was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Salomón Mac Kay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Salomón Mac Kay really showed his touch with that goal: 2-6. The Rahue F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Marchihue were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
