Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Juan Ignacio Nicolau started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th match minute, Aguantao AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Antonio Bourchier to maneuver through the defense. When Lauro Idoate came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Marchihue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauro Idoate couldn't finish the play. Alvar Daiber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lauro Idoate recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonardo Ubeda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Ignacio Nicolau's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Juan Ignacio Nicolau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Leonardo Ubeda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Ignacio Nicolau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Iribarra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marchihue's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aguantao AFC the free kick. The attack was good, but when Juan Ignacio Nicolau in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 47th minute Leopoldo Iribarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damario Atria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Marchihue were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salomón Mac Kay to strike the kick off in the second half. Lauro Idoate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damario Atria having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Lauro Idoate got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 66 minutes, Juan Ignacio Nicolau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aguantao AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Ignacio Nicolau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damario Atria was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Salomón Mac Kay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Salomón Mac Kay really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Leonardo Ubeda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Ignacio Nicolau in the 86th minute of the match. Damario Atria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salomón Mac Kay in the 91st minute of play. Damario Atria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salomón Mac Kay's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The Aguantao AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Marchihue's performance. The match ended with a win for Marchihue.
