AZUL AZUL's Daniel Davalos got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Davalos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damario Atria having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Niceto Armenta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damario Atria. Aguantao AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niceto Armenta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After having played for 20 minutes, Niceto Armenta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AZUL AZUL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Armenta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niceto Armenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Aguantao AFC's Juan Carlos Mutis got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute of the match Pepe Trincado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damario Atria showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 37th match minute, Aguantao AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Carlos Mutis to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Daniel Davalos sped through Aguantao AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Damario Atria. The Aguantao AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AZUL AZUL were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niceto Armenta to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Juan Ignacio Nicolau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AZUL AZUL's Fernando Dávila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th minute of the match Luis Angel Muñoz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Dávila skillfully saved the ball. In the 60thth minute of the game Juan Ignacio Nicolau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AZUL AZUL's Fernando Dávila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernando Dávila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvar Daiber in the 74th minute of the match. The Aguantao AFC fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Aguantao AFC's Alvar Daiber looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Elazar Albarran was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 84 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, one of AZUL AZUL:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AZUL AZUL. In the 86th minute there was a penalty for Aguantao AFC. Luis Angel Muñoz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fernando Dávila. 2-3. After 91 minutes of play, Aguantao AFC's Alvar Daiber made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Dávila was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernando Dávila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvar Daiber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
