The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Antonio Mella got free with Adolfo Bacigalupi in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Nastasio Oñate who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esquina FC's Jonatán Abrigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Nastasio Oñate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Rainerio Searle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in LOS RANCHEROS F.C .'s zone, Juan Pablo Isamit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Bacigalupi came out of the goal and Juan Pablo Isamit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nastasio Oñate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, LOS RANCHEROS F.C .'s goal looked a bit too open when Juan Pablo Isamit came free, but Adolfo Bacigalupi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
