The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narcomillo Arregui stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Tijeral got a corner. Canelillos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juan Luis Ogalde ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Tijeral's Juan Luis Ogalde to fire away a dangerous shot which Urtsín Arteaga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Urtsín Arteaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narcomillo Arregui in the 68th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes Canelillos got a freekick which was hit by Aureo Mier. Urtsín Arteaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Deneken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Salvador Barrientos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Tijeral support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
