Delmiro Atria's late challenge caught a Talabre AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmiro Atria helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Javiero Grebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talabre AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Javiero Grebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Bacigalupi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Savier Polhemus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st match minute, Talabre AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Manuel Lanas to maneuver through the defense. After 33 minutes, Narcís Torrejón mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talabre AFC and the LOS RANCHEROS F.C . players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Talabre AFC got a freekick which was hit by Narcís Torrejón. When Savier Polhemus came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the LOS RANCHEROS F.C . fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Savier Polhemus couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nastasio Oñate made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Talabre AFC's goalkeeper Victoro Andaur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Talabre AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of LOS RANCHEROS F.C .:s goal. If Teodosio Rinaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nastasio Oñate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoro Andaur having to interfere. Savier Polhemus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Victoro Andaur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Talabre AFC's zone, Savier Polhemus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoro Andaur came out of the goal and Savier Polhemus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victoro Andaur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Savier Polhemus, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
