Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Isadoro Van Diest started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 8th minute Pedro José Barrientos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafa Palmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro José Barrientos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafa Palmer having to make a save. Silvio Aránguiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafa Palmer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro José Barrientos's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Lino Lyon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Carte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huatacondo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taruguire the free kick. Pedro José Barrientos struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Rafa Palmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taruguire. After 31 played minutes Huatacondo got a freekick which was hit by Román Aceituno. Donato Papic, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro José Barrientos in the 34th minute of play forced Huatacondo's goalkeeper Rafa Palmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Lyon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafa Palmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro José Barrientos in the 38th minute of the match. Rafa Palmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Matildo Arteche in the 49th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The audience was convinced that Lino Lyon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafa Palmer was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the match, Taruguire's goal looked a bit too open when Isadoro Van Diest came free, but Luis Javier Caso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafa Palmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro José Barrientos in the 65th minute of the match. When Taruguire's Pedro José Barrientos in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Huatacondo's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Huatacondo's zone, Lino Lyon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafa Palmer came out of the goal and Lino Lyon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro José Barrientos in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafa Palmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Huatacondo's Rafa Palmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro José Barrientos in the 87th minute of play. Isadoro Van Diest struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Luis Javier Caso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huatacondo. In the 98th minute, Ubaldo Matildo Arteche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the match, Huatacondo's Roque Unger broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
