Humberto Huelqui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damián Andonaegui in the 17th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipo Estay in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Huelqui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antonio Labarca kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Arturo Ward shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Maldini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cogollín FC booed when Colorado AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Javier Massardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Tor Maldini made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, Damián Andonaegui notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cogollín FC's Humberto Huelqui. Humberto Huelqui was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Damián Andonaegui made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Felipo Estay made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Huelqui. Cogollín FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. If José Javier Massardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horacio Fanjul kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Damián Andonaegui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Humberto Huelqui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Cogollín FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damián Andonaegui came free, but Humberto Huelqui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Felipo Estay got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Colorado AFC's Mónico Laferte got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Felipo Estay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 93 minutes on the clock, Agustín Babul commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Cogollín FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Colorado AFC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Humberto Huelqui, was totally fooled by Colorado AFC's Ursino Mogollon, who 96 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
