After a rather tough play, Cogollín FC's Severino Otaegui got a free kick in the 5th minute. Humberto Huelqui made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adelino Aicardi in the 6th minute. Roldán Basanguren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Humberto Huelqui made a huge save. Cogollín FC's Humberto Huelqui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odín Lanz in the 12th minute of play. José Javier Massardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, José Javier Massardo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pachama's Vicent Majluf. Vicent Majluf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. José Javier Massardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicent Majluf having to interfere. Vicent Majluf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Javier Massardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Bairon Letelier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pachama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cogollín FC the free kick. Bairon Letelier kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Cogollín FC defense, Odín Lanz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Huelqui. The Cogollín FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Huelqui should have stopped the shot. Vicent Majluf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Ward, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arturo Ward made a kick off. Adelino Aicardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Huelqui having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Pachama's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Ward came free, but Vicent Majluf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Huelqui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odín Lanz, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Odín Lanz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Humberto Huelqui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Huelqui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Aicardi in the 92nd minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
