After a defensive mix-up in Compe AFC's zone, Silvio Parga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Ardiles came out of the goal and Silvio Parga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pujune's Adalberto Gredig in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Compe AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Teofilo Kroon hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Adalberto Gredig sped through Compe AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Reynaldo Ardiles. Reynaldo Ardiles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Gredig in the 17th minute of the match. Reynaldo Ardiles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Gredig in the 18th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Adalberto Gredig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pujune's supporters rose to their feet, but Adalberto Gredig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Ardiles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reynaldo Ardiles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Monreal, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Compe AFC's Reynaldo Ardiles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Gredig in the 88th minute of play. Adalberto Gredig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Ardiles having to interfere. When Pujune's Adalberto Gredig in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Compe AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If Vasco Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
