The Alca fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Alca's Angelo Zuloaga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ricard Berrio kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Angelo Zuloaga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xaime Felip. Centro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Zuloaga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Echedey Hermosilla fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alca's protests and gave Echedey Hermosilla a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Alca getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Echedey Hermosilla hit a great ball. Erik Daniel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reynaldo Fournier during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Reynaldo Fournier hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute of the match Marcelino Achurra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xaime Felip showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alca's Angelo Zuloaga got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vasco Villalba scored 0-3 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xaime Felip, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Xaime Felip stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vasco Villalba's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lautaro Ascue during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lautaro Ascue kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After the first half Alca were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvino Ureta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Angelo Zuloaga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xaime Felip. Centro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Zuloaga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Patricio Demanet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvino Ureta, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Xaime Felip showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Zuloaga in the 62nd minute of the match. Xaime Felip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasco Villalba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alca's Patricio Demanet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvino Ureta in the 69th minute of play. Alca's Vasco Villalba got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Vicente Magnani kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Marcelino Achurra sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Centro's Xaime Felip didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasco Villalba in the 78th minute of play forced Centro's goalkeeper Xaime Felip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xaime Felip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasco Villalba in the 80th minute of play. Xaime Felip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasco Villalba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasco Villalba in the 91st minute of play forced Centro's goalkeeper Xaime Felip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vasco Villalba got free with Xaime Felip in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Alca walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
