The goal made the score 1-0. Loreto Maldini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Urbistondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leoncio Landi got free with Eulalio Carranza in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anaguani's Próspero Zavala got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rosalio Horta kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If Próspero Zavala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Anaguani's Filipo Olmos got a free kick in the 29th minute. The supporters of Porfia AFC booed when Anaguani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Dumont didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Loreto Maldini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Porfia AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Anaguani.
