In the 26th minute, Teodovico Warnes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teodovico Warness short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Aristides Lobos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 39 minutes into the game, Juan Antonio Rivadeneira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Eber Araus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the match, Apeche's goal looked a bit too open when Casimír Mac Millan came free, but Eber Araus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
