The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Apeche's Teodovico Warnes in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chinigue's goalie prevented a goal. If Teodovico Warnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Teodovico Warnes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amador Manghy. Chinigue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodovico Warnes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Eber Araus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefano Aguayo in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Andy Dabrowsky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 23 minutes, Juan Raúl Campusano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apeche's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Raúl Campusano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chinigue's Amador Manghy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Desmadryl in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Federico Verdejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Raúl Campusano to strike the kick off in the second half. Juan Raúl Campusano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Amador Manghy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Velasco Faraggi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gaitán Parodi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Chinigue's zone, Juan Raúl Campusano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Manghy came out of the goal and Juan Raúl Campusano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stefano Aguayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the game, Amadeo Ronda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Apeche's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chinigue the free kick. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Apeche!
