Spectators: 7395 (Terracing: 5547, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 147) Huilque AFC's Podador Blanco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Huilque AFC's zone, Savier Socho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celino Patau came out of the goal and Savier Socho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Savier Socho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polcura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Savier Socho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 12 played minutes Huilque AFC got a freekick which was hit by Guido Izquierdo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Sarfate in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juliano Covarrubias saved Polcura from getting behind. In the 30th minute of the match Jesus Pruniel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juliano Covarrubias skillfully saved the ball. Juliano Covarrubias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Sarfate in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Huilque AFC's zone, Hipolito Manieu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celino Patau came out of the goal and Hipolito Manieu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Sarfate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Juliano Covarrubias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bruno Sarfate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Savier Socho to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Savier Socho in the 53rd minute of play forced Huilque AFC's goalkeeper Celino Patau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Hipolito Manieu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celino Patau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Polcura's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Podador Blanco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Huilque AFC's Podador Blanco got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Savier Socho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Polcura's Juliano Covarrubias got control of the ball when Bruno Sarfate tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Polcura getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Juan Luis Angellotti hit a great ball.
