After a defensive mix-up in Pichasca AFC's zone, Severino Languard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quique Munita came out of the goal and Severino Languard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Vladimiro Martiarena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Quique Munita was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Victor Quiroga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicens Bühler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicens Bühler might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Quiroga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicens Bühler ran back to his position shaking his head. Pichasca AFC's Nacho Sutil suffered a sore thigh after 36 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Edmundo Ceballos's late challenge caught a Pichasca AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmundo Ceballos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Los Rateros's Edmundo Ceballos got a free kick in the 37th minute. Juan Pablo Fariña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Victor Quiroga made a huge save. Vladimiro Martiarena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quique Munita having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Los Rateros's Severino Languard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quique Munita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ceandro Urbistondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vicens Bühler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Quique Munita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceandro Urbistondo in the 57th minute of the match. Pichasca AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Pablo Fariña was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
