After some careless play in the Quillaipe AFC defense, Javier Bastic kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anastasio Maldonado. The Quillaipe AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anastasio Maldonado should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Javier Bastic in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasio Maldonado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jhon Hernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julián Astudillo in the 18th minute of play. Anastasio Maldonado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Javier Bastic's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Javier Bastic who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quillaipe AFC's Anastasio Maldonado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Bodeuca getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Manuel Winter hit a great ball. When Javier Bastic came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Bodeuca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Bastic couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute of the match, Rolando Moroni tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anastasio Maldonado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jhon Hernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julián Astudillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The Bodeuca supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bodeuca would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
