To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Copaquire FC's Eufrasio Noguera got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Culco's Rutenio Maristany proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Culco from getting a goal against them. Efraín Barra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Culco's Esequiel Urenda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franco Rocha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abundio Rondón during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes Culco got a freekick which was hit by Abundio Rondón. If Esequiel Urenda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute Efraín Barra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rutenio Maristany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eufrasio Noguera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Copaquire FC's Franco Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esequiel Urenda in the 92nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Esequiel Urenda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Culco's supporters rose to their feet, but Esequiel Urenda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franco Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Copaquire FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Culco's performance. The match ended with a win for Culco.
