Lucero Orbegoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Tor Illescas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Malcio AFC fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Malcio AFC's Manuel Antonio Huidobro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Manuel Antonio Huidobro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tor Illescas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucero Orbegoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Nestor Benoit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Manuel Antonio Huidobro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tor Illescas, 0-3. After having played for 65 minutes, Juan Alfonso La Motte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malcio AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Alfonso La Motte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Manuel Antonio Huidobro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Manuel Antonio Huidobro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th minute Mark Nordon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Fadda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tor Illescas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Antonio Huidobro's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Tor Illescas came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Malcio AFC's Manuel Antonio Huidobro. But to his dismay, Manuel Antonio Huidobro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 88th minute, Manuel Antonio Huidobro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serafín Rendic kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Manuel Antonio Huidobro might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tor Illescas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Antonio Huidobro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute Manuel Antonio Huidobro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Illescas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malcio AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
