Carlos Hernán Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eleazar Yorgos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eufrasio Moya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Florín Martini fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quila FC's protests and gave Florín Martini a yellow card for diving instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eufrasio Moya was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Quila FC's Faustino Hamilton got a free kick in the 51st minute. Elodio Barroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Uriel Cifuentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Quila FC's Carlos Hernán Castro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. 72 minutes into the match, Mulpulmo's Uriel Cifuentes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eleazar Yorgos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute of the match, Carlos Hernán Castro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luciano Valverde saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Quila FC booed when Mulpulmo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Jáuregui didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Erik Portal in the 77th minute really tested Luciano Valverde's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Leonardo Menares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Valverde having to interfere. The Mulpulmo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Quila FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Quila FC.
