After 19 minutes, Vinos Peirano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zetsubou FC and the Cocoteros F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zetsubou FC's Eloi Garmendia got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eloi Garmendia struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Josías Madariaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zetsubou FC. When Eloi Garmendia fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zetsubou FC's protests and gave Eloi Garmendia a yellow card for diving instead. Leopoldo Jacinto Alba struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Josías Madariaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zetsubou FC. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Lara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloi Garmendia in the 68th minute of play forced Cocoteros F.C's goalkeeper Josías Madariaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nestor Valenzuela fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The Cocoteros F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Zetsubou FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Zetsubou FC.
