After a rather tough play, Altar AFC's Narciso Huenul got a free kick in the 28th minute. Salamón Barth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valiente Iñiguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salamón Barth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Huenul in the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half Altar AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Juan Pablo Thomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Enrique Mariano Reccius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mugiwara Sek FC's Salamón Barth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Mugiwara Sek FC from getting a goal against them. Altar AFC's Enrique Mariano Reccius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Pablo Thomas in the 55th minute of play. Salamón Barth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Huenul, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. When Narciso Huenul came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Altar AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Huenul couldn't finish the play. Valiente Iñiguez came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Salamón Barth could save by the left post. In the 80th minute, Carlos José Zumelzu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Altar AFC's Narciso Huenul slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Salamón Barth. That made the score 0-2 after 85 minutes of play. Mugiwara Sek FC's Juan Pablo Thomas got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Altar AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! The Altar AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
