Pinone Ibieta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narciso Huenul went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jose Ramon Zunino hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Narciso Huenul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pinone Ibieta having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Valiente Iñiguez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pinone Ibieta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valiente Iñiguez in the 23rd minute of play. Álvaro Carvacho kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Campiche's goalkeeper Pinone Ibieta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Campiche getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Álvaro Carvacho hit a great ball. Pinone Ibieta came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Altar AFC's Narciso Huenul. But to his dismay, Narciso Huenul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Narciso Huenul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, Moisés Ambrosio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campiche's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moisés Ambrosio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 45 minutes, Xaime Clavijo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campiche and the Altar AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abdul Gilberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Enrique Mariano Reccius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdul Gilberto made a kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Altar AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdul Gilberto came free, but Enrique Mariano Reccius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Huenul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pinone Ibieta having to interfere. Aitor Maquieira charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aitor Maquieira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 70 minutes into the game, one of Campiche:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Campiche:s Pinone Ibieta showed great skill when he stopped Rómulo Manzano:s penalty. In the 71st minute, Rómulo Manzano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pinone Ibieta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Valiente Iñiguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Pinone Ibieta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Poulus Losada took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Pinone Ibieta to make any attempt to save it. In the 87thth minute of the game Narciso Huenul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campiche's Pinone Ibieta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Altar AFC booed when Campiche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulco Paravic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pinone Ibieta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Huenul, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Moisés Ambrosio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Enrique Mariano Reccius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Campiche's Pinone Ibieta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 101st minute of the match, managed to save Campiche from getting a goal against them. The Campiche fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Altar AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
