Zenón Maffet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Hollstein having to interfere. Uriel Teran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Bolivar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uriel Teran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Bolivar in the 13th minute of the match. Rafael Bustos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Teran having to interfere. If Rafael Bustos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Zenón Maffet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Cardall's Santiago Hollstein got control of the ball when Zenón Maffet tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute, Zenón Maffet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Astroboy FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Florián Villamar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Cirilo Bolivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florián Villamar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rafael Bustos made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Cardall's goal looked a bit too open when Zenón Maffet came free, but Santiago Hollstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Florián Villamar notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Cardall's Santiago Hollstein. Santiago Hollstein was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rd minute Zenón Maffet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Hollstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cardall's Rafael Bustos has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 67th minute. After 70 played minutes Astroboy FC got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Osorio. Zenón Maffet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Santiago Hollstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Florián Villamar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Hollstein was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Cardall's zone, Zenón Maffet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Hollstein came out of the goal and Zenón Maffet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uriel Teran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darien Yanque, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Cirilo Bolivar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-1 in the 89th playminute. A hard shot by Zarpas Didier from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Uriel Teran's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Zenón Maffet struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Santiago Hollstein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astroboy FC. Dino Zavaleta kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Astroboy FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
