The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Aurelius Sáez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coironal FC and the Devil f.c players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aurelius Sáez kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Saturnín Tobar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Cares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rogelio Cares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Devil f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Carreto came free, but Roldán Mardones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saturnín Tobar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Cares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roldán Mardones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Carreto in the 23rd minute of the match. Saturnín Tobar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oriol Quero went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 2-0 became the score in the 28th minute when Rogelio Cares elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ermegildo Uriondo charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermegildo Uriondo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Devil f.c got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Uriondo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogelio Cares in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saturnín Tobar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oriol Quero got free with Saturnín Tobar in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Coironal FC's goalkeeper Saturnín Tobar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Bassenge. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Franco Carreto to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Florián Pazols mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coironal FC and the Devil f.c players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for Devil f.c. Ermegildo Uriondo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Saturnín Tobar. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Rogelio Cares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Devil f.c's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Cares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnín Tobar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the game, Devil f.c's Fernando Bassenge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saturnín Tobar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 65thth minute of the game Franco Carreto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Devil f.c's Roldán Mardones was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Coironal FC defense, Rogelio Cares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saturnín Tobar. The Coironal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saturnín Tobar should have stopped the shot. Saturnín Tobar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Bassenge in the 71st minute of play. Rogelio Cares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnín Tobar having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Franco Carreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saturnín Tobar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Cares in the 78th minute of play. Saturnín Tobar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Bassenge went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Roldán Mardones successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fernando Bassenge might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saturnín Tobar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Bassenge ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernando Bassenge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roldán Mardones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Carreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saturnín Tobar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Bassenge, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Devil f.c had played much better football throughout.
