The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Pupetra FC's Bonifacio Cobaleda got control of the ball when Florián Recabal tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelius Swinburn in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Textex saved Humapalca AFC from getting behind. In the 8th minute Humapalca AFC were awarded a corner. Florián Recabal went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Humapalca AFC's Florián Recabal to fire away a dangerous shot which Bonifacio Cobaleda despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Lanz in the 11th minute of play forced Humapalca AFC's goalkeeper Richard Textex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bonifacio Cobaleda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florián Recabal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 played minutes Pupetra FC got a freekick which was hit by Ruyman Pechini. Bonifacio Cobaleda was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Javiero Perfetti. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelius Swinburn in the 18th minute of play forced Humapalca AFC's goalkeeper Richard Textex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bonifacio Cobaleda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sorin Albu, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 30 minutes, Maurín Lawrence mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pupetra FC and the Humapalca AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maurín Lawrence hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Bonifacio Cobaleda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Humapalca AFC. Florián Recabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Bonifacio Cobaleda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricard Polo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bonifacio Cobaleda. Pupetra FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florián Recabal made a kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Pupetra FC's Victorio Lanz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Textex was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Florián Recabal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Humapalca AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Florián Recabal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bonifacio Cobaleda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sorin Albu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pupetra FC's zone, Florián Recabal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bonifacio Cobaleda came out of the goal and Florián Recabal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 65 played minutes Pupetra FC got a freekick which was hit by Pere Jordi Peñailillo. In the 72nd minute Florián Recabal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Cobaleda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorio Lanz got free with Richard Textex in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Humapalca AFC's Richard Textex got control of the ball when Victorio Lanz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Pupetra FC defense, Guntademaro Van Dijk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bonifacio Cobaleda. The Pupetra FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bonifacio Cobaleda should have stopped the shot. When Humapalca AFC's Florián Recabal in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 97th minute, Aurelius Swinburn reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Richard Textex. The goal made the score 1-2. Although Humapalca AFC had been in control for most of the match, Pupetra FC still came away with the win.
