Alcadio Varela was slow to take the kick. During this time Chanabaya's players had a chance to rest. Nafarroa Partarrieu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Candido Araoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Planchada booed when Chanabaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zenaido Armenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jasone Solorzano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. José Francisco Beltrán came out and tried to block the shot, but Jasone Solorzano slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 57th minute. After 62 played minutes Planchada got a freekick which was hit by Prudentio Urtubia. If Nafarroa Partarrieu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 65 minutes into the match, Planchada's goal looked a bit too open when Miliano Luco came free, but Candido Araoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute of the match Tamariz Quijada shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Candido Araoz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 78th minute, Miliano Luco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chanabaya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
