Spectators: 7423 (Terracing: 5568, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jasone Solorzano started the match with the kick off. Saturnín Torrijo scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Carlos Señoret, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juan Carlos Señoret made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasone Solorzano in the 9th minute of play. When Planchada's Jasone Solorzano in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tranqui's goalie prevented a goal. Jasone Solorzano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Juan Carlos Señoret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jasone Solorzano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Jasone Solorzano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Victor Montiel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Planchada's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Montiel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Carlos Señoret breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Saturnín Torrijo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Carlos Señoret was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Tranqui's Maximino Caticura got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Saturnín Torrijo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Humberto Iturriaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Iturriaga got free with Candido Araoz in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tranqui's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Señoret, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Saturnín Torrijo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After 55 played minutes Planchada got a freekick which was hit by Victor Montiel. Val Hoffmann hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Saturnín Torrijo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Juan Carlos Señoret made a huge save. 62 minutes into the match, Tranqui's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Señoret had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saturnín Torrijo. Maximino Caticura hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Jasone Solorzano struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Juan Carlos Señoret didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Planchada. Saturnín Torrijo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Planchada's zone, Humberto Iturriaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Candido Araoz came out of the goal and Humberto Iturriaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jasone Solorzano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Carlos Señoret having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tranqui's zone, Jasone Solorzano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Carlos Señoret came out of the goal and Jasone Solorzano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th match minute, Tranqui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Manquilef to maneuver through the defense. Mercurio Lurquín was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Planchada's Jasone Solorzano in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tranqui's goalie prevented a goal. After 85 minutes, Octavio Maggi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tranqui and the Planchada players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 played minutes Tranqui got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Maggi. In the 98th minute José Alberto Ruiz Tagle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Araoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Planchada played a much better game than Tranqui and deserved their victory. The Tranqui players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
