Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Miguel Allison took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Laredo booed when Granizo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezmundo Marticorena didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Octavio Valdenebro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Granizo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 17 minutes into the match, Laredo's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Perl came free, but Elías Undurraga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Miguel Allison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laredo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Allison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 29 minutes, Emilio Mac Kenzie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Granizo FC and the Laredo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Granizo FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Emilio Mac Kenzie hit a great ball. Ezmundo Marticorena charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ezmundo Marticorena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Granizo FC's zone, Miguel Allison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Rouse came out of the goal and Miguel Allison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, Granizo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Allison came free, but Gonzalo Rouse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Granizo FC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Rouse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Naelio Clausen. If Miguel Allison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavio Valdenebro made a kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Miguel Allison who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granizo FC's Gonzalo Rouse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Granizo FC's Hugo Perl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elías Undurraga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Laredo booed when Granizo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Otava didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elías Undurraga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Valdenebro in the 65th minute of the match. Laredo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Octavio Valdenebro scored to the left of an out of position Elías Undurraga, making the score, 1-2. Miguel Allison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Allison blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gonzalo Rouse having to make a save. Gonzalo Rouse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Allison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Perl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Elías Undurraga made a huge save. In the 81st minute, Ezmundo Marticorena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Allison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Gonzalo Rouse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Otava charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Otava the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, one of Granizo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Granizo FC. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for Laredo. Arnau Antonis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gonzalo Rouse. 2-2. After 88 played minutes Laredo got a freekick which was hit by Arnau Antonis. Hugo Perl succeeded in the game's 91st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. Wilfredo Carmona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute Miguel Allison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Rouse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Miguel Allison's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonzalo Rouse was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. Chants of Granizo FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Laredo had held the ball for most of the match.
