Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Laredo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Allison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Allison charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Allison the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Pido got a freekick which was hit by Armando Puga. Fortunato Marre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Allison's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Arnau Antonis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fortunato Marre was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Miguel Allison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Marre having to interfere. Fortunato Marre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Allison, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baudelio Granado was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Pido getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Darío Guemes hit a great ball. When Esteban Matetich fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pido's protests and gave Esteban Matetich a yellow card for diving instead. 55 minutes into the game, one of Pido:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Laredo. Arnau Antonis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fortunato Marre. 2-0. Miguel Allison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Pido's zone, Wilfredo Carmona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fortunato Marre came out of the goal and Wilfredo Carmona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fortunato Marre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Allison in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Allison in the 73rd minute of play forced Pido's goalkeeper Fortunato Marre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 minutes of play, Laredo's Arnau Antonis made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fortunato Marre was left in no man's land by his defense there! Miguel Allison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Marre having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Naelio Clausen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laredo's supporters rose to their feet, but Naelio Clausen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fortunato Marre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Wilfredo Carmona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Miguel Allison ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fortunato Marre was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0.
