Bollenar's Alirio Henson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavi Daldos in the 30th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Próspero Walton during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Bollenar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Próspero Walton to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Xavi Daldos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leovigildo Barrenechea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomé Guisado in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Archibaldo Fournier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leovigildo Barrenechea was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
