Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonel Botero started the match with the kick off. Rubén Lanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marín Marshall, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Leonel Botero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leovigildo Barrenechea having to interfere. Xosé Guichard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Domingo Schindler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Rubén Lanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rubén Lanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavi Daldos in the 12th minute of play. If Leonel Botero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Munizaga AFC's Leonel Botero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leovigildo Barrenechea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xosé Guichard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Leovigildo Barrenechea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 0-1 became the score in the 34th minute when Leonel Botero elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Domingo Schindler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingo Schindler in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rubén Lanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xavi Daldos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Valparaiso United's goalkeeper Leovigildo Barrenechea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xosé Guichard. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pau Marileo during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes Valparaiso United got a freekick which was hit by Pau Marileo. After recieving a nice pass, Munizaga AFC's Leoncio Cetina tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Valparaiso United's Leovigildo Barrenechea got control of the ball when Xosé Guichard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xavi Daldos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubén Lanz having to interfere. Eliseo Maralla kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Xosé Espiñeira kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Ruperto Matetich hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Xosé Espiñeira sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Munizaga AFC's Rubén Lanz didn't even have to move. Leovigildo Barrenechea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Botero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute of the match Munizaga AFC got a corner. Valparaiso United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leoncio Cetina ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Leoncio Cetina almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Valparaiso United's Leovigildo Barrenechea did a great save.
