Limahuida AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estancia the free kick. After a rather tough play, Limahuida AFC's Velasco Cross got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Joaquin Mauad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quintén Puertocarrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Thompson in the 13th minute of play. Joaquin Mauad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Quintén Puertocarrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Uriel Thompson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quintén Puertocarrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Estancia's Quintén Puertocarrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Thompson in the 25th minute of play. Leonardo Lavaque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Clavel in the 28th minute of the match. Joaquin Mauad succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Uriel Thompson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Quintén Puertocarrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Clavel in the 35th minute of play forced Limahuida AFC's goalkeeper Leonardo Lavaque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quintén Puertocarrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenaido Green in the 38th minute of play. Uriel Thompson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Quintén Puertocarrero having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Héctor Pedraza to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Mauad in the 56th minute of play forced Estancia's goalkeeper Quintén Puertocarrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estancia's Severino Clavel got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute Joaquin Mauad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quintén Puertocarrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor Pedraza in the 69th minute of play forced Limahuida AFC's goalkeeper Leonardo Lavaque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Héctor Pedraza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Limahuida AFC's zone, Héctor Pedraza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Lavaque came out of the goal and Héctor Pedraza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Mauad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quintén Puertocarrero having to interfere. The supporters of Limahuida AFC booed when Estancia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermenegildo Llanos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Estancia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Genaro Argandoña was slow to take the kick. During this time Limahuida AFC's players had a chance to rest. When Joaquin Mauad came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Limahuida AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquin Mauad couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Estancia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Limahuida AFC.
