Bartolomé Delgado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Marcelino Norambuena stood somewhat misplaced when Bartolomé Delgado came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 14 minute. The supporters of Hunter FC booed when BackOff FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Alcaide didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Hunter FC's Aldo Fiamenghi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xavi Maquieira got free with Marcelino Norambuena in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xavi Maquieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tanio Guardia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Chamorro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauro Chamorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanio Guardia having to interfere. The supporters of BackOff FC booed when Hunter FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Puga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Carilao charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Carilao the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benito Carilao kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Hunter FC's Xavi Maquieira got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bartolomé Delgado might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelino Norambuena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bartolomé Delgado ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Bartolomé Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hunter FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartolomé Delgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelino Norambuena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Mauro Chamorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanio Guardia having to interfere. Xavi Maquieira took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelino Norambuena. Marcelino Norambuena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Mauro Chamorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xavi Maquieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Norambuena having to interfere. With a little luck, Hunter FC's Tanio Guardia got control of the ball when Horacio Alcalde tried to sneak it across the goal line. Constancio Humeres hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Horacio Alcalde came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the BackOff FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Alcalde couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Xavi Maquieira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelino Norambuena was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Bartolomé Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Norambuena having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, BackOff FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomé Delgado came free, but Marcelino Norambuena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Hunter FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Zarricueta to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavi Maquieira in the 85th minute of play forced BackOff FC's goalkeeper Marcelino Norambuena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Carilao got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Benito Carilao kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Marcelino Norambuena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavi Maquieira in the 87th minute of play. Xavi Maquieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marcelino Norambuena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horacio Alcalde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Hunter FC were the better team. Hunter FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
