Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) Gualberto Badiola made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to Balsas getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. David Amaya hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Balsas's zone, Mauro Chamorro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Estevan Roger came out of the goal and Mauro Chamorro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute Horacio Alcalde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Estevan Roger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Mauro Chamorro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BackOff FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balsas the free kick. In the 19th match minute, BackOff FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Chamorro to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of BackOff FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Balsas:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Alcalde in the 27th minute of play forced Balsas's goalkeeper Juan Estevan Roger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horacio Alcalde in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Estevan Roger saved Balsas from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Angelillo Schroeders sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and BackOff FC's Marcelino Norambuena didn't even have to move. After having played for 42 minutes, Jorge Vicente Dutard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balsas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Vicente Dutard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliseo Gormaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Norambuena having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

54 minutes into the match, Balsas's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Chamorro came free, but Juan Estevan Roger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 played minutes Balsas got a freekick which was hit by Heliodoro Albrecht. Balsas's Juan Estevan Roger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Balsas from getting a goal against them. Natanael Boroevic, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. BackOff FC's Marcelino Norambuena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualberto Badiola in the 71st minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Balsas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Amaya to maneuver through the defense. Mauro Chamorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
