After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Mónico Cea managed to get in a good position for a shot. panguipulli F.M's supporters rose to their feet, but Mónico Cea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Menéndez Dunn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute Jose Maria Airola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toni Barasarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toni Barasarte was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jose Maria Airola showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. In the 24th minute, Salinas AFC's Jose Maria Airola dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The wind increased when Jose Maria Airola made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes in the game, Odilón Duarte dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Mónico Cea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Odilón Duarte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toni Barasarte. panguipulli F.M's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Odilón Duarte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 63rd minute, Jose Maria Airola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toni Barasarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Israel Balut during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Salinas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Balut to maneuver through the defense. Abdul Jungejohan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Menéndez Dunn having to interfere. If Abdul Jungejohan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Salinas AFC's zone, Mónico Cea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Menéndez Dunn came out of the goal and Mónico Cea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdul Jungejohan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. panguipulli F.M's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Mónico Cea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdul Jungejohan struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Menéndez Dunn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for panguipulli F.M. Cristiano Gómez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toni Barasarte having to interfere. Salinas AFC's Menéndez Dunn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Salinas AFC from getting a goal against them. Salinas AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
