Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amato Raymond got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Amato Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menéndez Dunn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulises Rueda got free with Menéndez Dunn in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amato Raymond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niguel Zanetta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jose Maria Airola went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Salinas AFC's Menéndez Dunn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Salinas AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute, Angelillo Catoni made a precise shot to the right of Menéndez Dunn. Salinas AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ulises Rueda's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Menéndez Dunn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Salinas AFC's Simón Amengual pulled a muscle in his leg after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 30 minutes, Quintán Dagorret mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lupica and the Salinas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Quintán Dagorret hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 35 played minutes Lupica got a freekick which was hit by Angelillo Catoni. After a defensive mix-up in Lupica's zone, Cipriano Grau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niguel Zanetta came out of the goal and Cipriano Grau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lupica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Salinas AFC a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cipriano Grau, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lupica's Niguel Zanetta. 1-2. Amato Raymond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Menéndez Dunn having to interfere. Ulises Rueda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Menéndez Dunn having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Odilón Duarte made a kick off. After some careless play in the Salinas AFC defense, Amato Raymond kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Menéndez Dunn. The Salinas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Menéndez Dunn should have stopped the shot. If Odilón Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ulises Rueda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amato Raymond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Menéndez Dunn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amato Raymond in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Odilón Duarte could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Niguel Zanetta however easily saved by the left post. Odilón Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Menéndez Dunn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulises Rueda went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. If Amato Raymond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Rueda struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Menéndez Dunn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lupica. Ulises Rueda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Menéndez Dunn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Lupica were the better team. Lupica's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
