Nicanor Malicet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 43rd play minute Humberto Pizarro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marciano Menart. 1-0.

In the 85th match minute, Hornillos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Ogalde to maneuver through the defense. Pierre Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marcos Francisco Alava tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 92 in the game by Vasco Oruna from a close distance when the talented Marcos Francisco Alava managed to make a qualified save. Yeovill Town fc's players were relieved. When the referee blew the final whistle, Yeovill Town fc could leave the field as winners, despite Hornillos FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
