In the 4th play minute Seran Alzola came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcos Francisco Alava. 1-0. Marcos Francisco Alava was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Constancio León capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Constancio León really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 15th minute, Jose Ramon Panussi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jose Nikola was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With 26 minutes on the clock, Aurelio Castex commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 26 minutes into the game, one of Yeovill Town fc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With his leg Marcos Francisco Alava managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Club Azul's Seran Alzola fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcos Francisco Alava took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seran Alzola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rdth minute of the game Seran Alzola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yeovill Town fc's Marcos Francisco Alava was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yeovill Town fc's Marcos Francisco Alava played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seran Alzola in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to Club Azul getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Alvino Moreno hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Humberto Pizarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute of the match Flavinho Guedes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Francisco Alava showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Flavinho Guedes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Francisco Alava skillfully saved the ball. In the 69th match minute, Yeovill Town fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Ramon Panussi to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the game, Alvino Moreno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Marcos Francisco Alava was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abdón Zañartu charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdón Zañartu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the referee ended the match the Club Azul players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
