Spectators: 6714 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 0) Chapisca's Hernán Martinic started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 12 minutes, Visen Magofke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chapisca and the Itahue players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedro Menarte, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chapisca's zone, Emilio Codina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urtsín Lambert came out of the goal and Emilio Codina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Itahue's Demetrio Muñiz got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximiliano Ayorecha charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Ayorecha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maximiliano Ayorecha kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Chapisca's Urtsín Lambert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Muñiz in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Itahue booed when Chapisca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Ramon Bernales didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Chapisca's goal looked a bit too open when Demetrio Muñiz came free, but Urtsín Lambert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Codina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domenico Bórquez might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Val Carmona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Domenico Bórquez ran back to his position shaking his head. After 31 minutes, Jose Ramon Bernales mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chapisca and the Itahue players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chapisca's Jose Ramon Bernales got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 32nd minute of the match Pedro Menarte sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Urtsín Lambert skillfully saved the ball. Hernán Martinic's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Val Carmona read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Rainerio Lobos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itahue's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chapisca the free kick. In the 38th minute, Rainerio Lobos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domenico Bórquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Val Carmona made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernán Martinic in the 40th minute of play forced Itahue's goalkeeper Val Carmona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Domenico Bórquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Val Carmona was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Domenico Bórquez struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Val Carmona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chapisca. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Emilio Codina made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Chapisca's zone, Emilio Codina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urtsín Lambert came out of the goal and Emilio Codina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Eloi Hermua fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chapisca's protests and gave Eloi Hermua a yellow card for diving instead. 64 minutes into the match, Itahue's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Bórquez came free, but Val Carmona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chapisca's Urtsín Lambert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Codina in the 71st minute of play. After 72 played minutes Itahue got a freekick which was hit by Ondino Ruiz. Domenico Bórquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Val Carmona having to interfere. Ludovico Grez kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Urtsín Lambert was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pedro Menarte. 83 minutes into the match, Hernán Martinic had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Val Carmona. Itahue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hernán Martinic was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Hernán Martinic charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hernán Martinic the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Chapisca getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Hernán Martinic hit a great ball. Chapisca were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Itahue for a fine match.
