COPIAPO's Miquel Barril played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Héctor Santana-Bauzá in the 68th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Leonides Arratia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linderos's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonides Arratia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miquel Barril breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75thth minute of the game Leonides Arratia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but COPIAPO's Miquel Barril was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Pau Jaras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miquel Barril made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Héctor Santana-Bauzá in the 91st minute of play. Pau Jaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nazario Cienfuegos having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. COPIAPO walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
