Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Natanael Villamil took the kick off in the first half of the match. Román Fagalde hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Saturnín Betanzos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rexino Santa María in the 6th minute of play. Saturnín Betanzos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rexino Santa María, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The supporters of Hueso FC booed when Lonco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor Zavaleta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Rexino Santa María shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnín Betanzos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Matta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael Villamil in the 21st minute of play forced Hueso FC's goalkeeper Lester Alcedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lester Alcedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Matta in the 24th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Saturnín Betanzos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Lonco FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Benicio Valdovinos hit a great ball. If Rexino Santa María had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Román Fagalde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Saturnín Betanzos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rexino Santa María in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saturnín Betanzos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rexino Santa María received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Saturnín Betanzos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saturnín Betanzos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rexino Santa María, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When Lonco FC's Natanael Villamil, in the 39th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Lonco FC. In the 41st minute, Rexino Santa María reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Saturnín Betanzos. The goal made the score 1-0. Natanael Villamil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lester Alcedo having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rexino Santa María to make the kick off. Reynaldo Matta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Lester Alcedo made a huge save. In the 58th minute, Reynaldo Matta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Román Fagalde charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Román Fagalde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Hueso FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Román Fagalde hit a great ball. Reynaldo Matta was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in Hueso FC's zone, Natanael Villamil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lester Alcedo came out of the goal and Natanael Villamil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Rexino Santa María managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hueso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rexino Santa María was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saturnín Betanzos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rexino Santa María in the 86th minute of the match. Lester Alcedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natanael Villamil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the game, Marín Dahlgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hueso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lonco FC the free kick. Marín Dahlgren kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Hueso FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lonco FC for a fine match.
