Adrián Ralph hit a great ball. Ronaldo Budinich, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Adriel Levenier notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Alico's Jeraldo Delgado. Jeraldo Delgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gregorio Mofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marín Argo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Yeray Daniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeraldo Delgado having to interfere. Gregorio Mofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Klickmann in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Américo Uriarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeraldo Delgado made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Adrián Ralph sent off a good shot on target. After 61 minutes, Juanjo Urizar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mela and the Alico players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mela's Juanjo Urizar got a free kick in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mela's zone, Ronaldo Budinich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorio Mofre came out of the goal and Ronaldo Budinich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alico's goalkeeper Jeraldo Delgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Américo Uriarte hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Yeray Daniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeraldo Delgado having to interfere. With his leg Jeraldo Delgado managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Mela's Adriel Levenier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Mela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alico:s goal. The referee gave Alico a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ronaldo Budinich, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mela's Gregorio Mofre. 1-2. Manuel Klickmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregorio Mofre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Manuel Klickmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregorio Mofre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Klickmann ran back to his position shaking his head. Adriel Levenier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeraldo Delgado having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Eugenio Zubelzu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mela's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
