Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aureliano Fagalde got the match started through his kick off. After 4 played minutes Maiquillahue got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Magdahl. Aureliano Fagalde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Fagalde's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nereo Monroy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After 14 minutes, Domingo Garbiso made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Amarga FC's Adán Rioseco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 18 played minutes Maiquillahue got a freekick which was hit by Florinio Nordman. After 25 played minutes Amarga FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Carlos Legrand. Adán Rioseco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Magdahl in the 26th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Aureliano Fagalde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amarga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliano Fagalde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Monroy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Amarga FC's Lucero Tello slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nereo Monroy. That made the score 1-1 after 30 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Maiquillahue's Florinio Nordman got a free kick in the 41st minute. If Aureliano Fagalde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlo Magdahl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maiquillahue were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Amarga FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernardino Lynch took the corner. In the 55th minute of the match Maiquillahue got a corner. Amarga FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bernardino Lynch ran over to the corner to take the kick. Maiquillahue's Bernardino Lynch was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adán Rioseco in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Aureliano Fagalde scored 2-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nereo Monroy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nereo Monroy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Fagalde in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Maiquillahue's zone, Alvar Escobar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Monroy came out of the goal and Alvar Escobar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nereo Monroy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Fagalde, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. If Carlo Magdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlo Magdahl was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. Maiquillahue's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 93 minutes into the match, Amarga FC's goalkeeper Adán Rioseco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingo Garbiso. Aureliano Fagalde scored 4-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nereo Monroy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
