Sansón Formoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastián Anguita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Abud in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastián Anguita saved Salinas AFC from getting behind. Ángel Carrasco hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fausto Abud stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fausto Abud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastián Anguita having to interfere. Sebastián Anguita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 82 minutes into the match, Salinas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Abud came free, but Sebastián Anguita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Adriano Painevilu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Francisco Miguel Benítez. The goal made the score 1-1.
