Eliseo Durango kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. If Cirilo Ahues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. In the 68th minute, Cirilo Ahues made a precise shot to the right of Josías Agudo. Pilmaiquen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 72nd minute, Saucache's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hernán Ruiz Tagle fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 82nd minute, Romildo Maturana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Josías Agudo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Ahues in the 85th minute of play. Saucache's Soriano Piña got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Josías Agudo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Soriano Piña's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. In the 96th minute Romildo Maturana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Schlegel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
