After a defensive mix-up in Liga's zone, Rogerio Abaitua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oriol Mariño came out of the goal and Rogerio Abaitua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baudelio Nebel charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baudelio Nebel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Baudelio Nebel hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Oriol Mariño made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Soto Tapia in the 22nd minute. Savier Marholz kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Ernesto Soto Tapia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Oriol Mariño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Engdahl hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 34thth minute of the game Rómulo Suarez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JAIVAteam's Bruno Moroni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Rogerio Abaitua came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the JAIVAteam fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogerio Abaitua couldn't finish the play. Liga's Oriol Mariño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogerio Abaitua in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rómulo Suarez to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind JAIVAteam's goalkeeper Bruno Moroni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Liga's Angelo Alava got a free kick in the 59th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baudelio Nebel in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oriol Mariño prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogerio Abaitua in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oriol Mariño saved Liga from getting behind. JAIVAteam's Bruno Moroni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save JAIVAteam from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Ernesto Soto Tapia put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Oriol Mariño. Ruesga Anwandter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Moroni having to interfere. Ruesga Anwandter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
