Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo Ralph in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Arostegui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Leopoldo Ralph put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eric Arostegui. After 12 minutes, Jonatan Gartsman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lluga AFC and the Quechereguas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Lluga AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Gartsman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Ralph in the 14th minute of play forced Quechereguas's goalkeeper Eric Arostegui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salomone Uretas short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Eric Arostegui to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Leopoldo Ralph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo Ralph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Abeliuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Ignacio Raineri in the 43rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Quechereguas's zone, Leopoldo Ralph stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Arostegui came out of the goal and Leopoldo Ralph tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Ralph to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Laureano Echeverz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abel Abeliuk. Lluga AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laureano Echeverz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Quechereguas's Eric Arostegui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Ralph in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Quechereguas's Juan Jesus Valdovinos got a free kick in the 67th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salomone Ureta in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Laureano Echeverz might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abel Abeliuk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laureano Echeverz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 72nd minute, Quechereguas's Francisco Ignacio Raineri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abel Abeliuk. Abel Abeliuk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Leopoldo Ralph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Arostegui having to interfere. With a little luck, Lluga AFC's Abel Abeliuk got control of the ball when Laureano Echeverz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Laureano Echeverz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Laureano Echeverz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Abel Abeliuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eric Arostegui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salomone Ureta, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
